These are to be found in ponds, water jumps and pools throughout the garden. Some live exclusively in water, such as the species and cultivars of water lily (including those of the Nymphaea, Nymphoides and Nuphar genera, among others), lotuses (Nelumbo nucifera) and scarlet rosemallows (Hibiscus coccineus). Also on display are species which grow on flooded land, such as the papyrus (Cyperus papyrus) and upright elephant ear (Alocasia odora).
