The Historical Viewpoint is home to a collection of the Adansonia genus comprising 9 different specimens of the A. grandidieri, A. fony var. rubrostipa, A. madagascariensis, A. za y A. digitata. species. These trees have been grown from seeds acquired between 2004 and 2005 in Germany and the Reunion Isles by Rafael Cabrera, who works with La Concepcion and is responsible for their germination, development and acclimatisation.
